The Axial Biangular lateral pad is part of the Spex trunk support range. A patented pivot-link sits inside the pad itself, so the pad can be angled through the middle rather than only tilted as a whole. That lets you follow a concave or convex trunk deviation instead of forcing the trunk flat against a single plane.
Each half adjusts up to 90 degrees either side of flat, giving 180 degrees of total range. Axial mounting hardware lets the pad be positioned almost anywhere across the support frame, so height, depth and rotation can be dialled in to the client rather than to the chair.
Covers are removable and washable. Two cover styles are offered: Standard, and Comfy with a pull strap to release the swing-away mechanism.
