The low height keeps the shell clear of the shoulder blades and upper trunk, which preserves push stroke and reach. The top edge is rounded and padded to protect the spine where the user extends over it.
The shell is a breathable composite with a ventilated pattern, which helps manage heat build-up against the back. The cover is removable and washable, and cover extensions are supplied as standard to close the gap between the back support and the seat cushion.
