The Low Back Utility Chair is a general purpose chair for a client who needs a firmer, higher seat than standard furniture. The seat height adjusts from 480 to 650 mm, seat depth adjusts from 430 to 460 mm, and it comes in two seat widths: 450 mm rated to 205 kg and 520 mm rated to 250 kg. The contoured low backrest and padded armrests give support to stand up from without getting in the way at a table.
The powder-coated steel frame carries mocha vinyl upholstery that wipes clean. The chair weighs 10.2 kg in the 450 mm width and 11.6 kg in the 520 mm width.

Who it suits
A client with hip or knee stiffness, or reduced leg strength, who struggles to rise from a standard dining chair and needs a set seat height with arms to push from. It also works as a kitchen perching chair or a waiting room chair in facilities. It is not a lounge chair: a client who will sit for long periods or needs pressure care is better served by a high back or pressure care chair.
