The Icare IC333 is a hi-lo home care bed that looks like domestic furniture. The mattress platform travels from 220 mm to 660 mm, the backrest raises to 62 degrees, the knee break to 42 degrees, and the bed tilts 17 degrees in Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg. Long single and king single beds are rated to 200 kg; long double, queen and split queen to 300 kg, including the mattress.
All sizes are 2030 mm long as standard, with extra-long versions available. Widths are 900 mm (long single), 1070 mm (king single), 1350 mm (long double), 1520 mm (queen) and 1480 mm (split queen). Head, knee and height actuators are 6000 N each (8000 N height actuators on doubles and queens) with battery backup. The bed rolls on eight castors with a lock at each corner and is upholstered in commercial grade fabric in Onyx, Silver, Smoke or Stone.

Who it suits
A client who needs a hospital style bed at home but wants it to look like a bed: an adjustable platform for repositioning, a low height for fall risk, and a high position for carers and hoist transfers. The queen and split queen sizes let a couple keep sharing a bed while one side is adjustable. If the client needs a bed with integrated side rails as standard, or a floor level low position under 200 mm, look at a dedicated floor bed instead.
