The NXT MultiFit head support uses a layered foam pad on a multi axis mounting system. This listing covers the pad selection: the pad itself with a removable washable fabric cover and an additional wipe down cover.
Two covers matters in practice. The fabric cover is more comfortable against the head and neck, and the wipe down cover suits clients who drool, are fed enterally, or are in a shared setting where the pad has to be cleaned between uses. Having both means the pad stays in service while one cover is being washed.
Three pad shapes are offered across the MultiFit range, so the pad can be matched to how much occipital and lateral contact the client needs.
