The Invacare Birdie Evo Compact is a compact mobile hoist for home and community use, rated to 150 kg. It is the smallest model in the Birdie Evo range: base length is 1100 mm, base width is 520 mm with the legs closed, opening to 835 mm internal, and the lift range at the sling hook-up point is 515 to 1575 mm. That range covers floor pick-ups as well as lifts onto a raised bed.
The mast lifts off the base without tools and the hoist folds, so it fits in a car boot for respite or a move between homes. Total weight is 31 kg.

Who it suits
Clients who cannot bear weight and need full sling transfers, in a home where space is tight or where the hoist has to travel. The 35 mm ground clearance and 1070 mm turning diameter matter in small bedrooms and en suites. For heavier clients or a higher lift, look at the larger Birdie Evo models.
