The Stander Assist-A-Tray is an overbed table with handle, combining a swivelling tray with a support handle rated to 113 kg. The base slides under the legs of a four-leg chair, sofa, recliner, lift chair or bed, so the furniture’s own weight anchors the handle and the person has a firm point to push up from. It suits home use where a client eats, reads or does activities from one chair for much of the day.
The handle height adjusts from 876 to 1029 mm and the tray from 660 to 813 mm. The tray carries up to 6.8 kg, swivels 360 degrees and pushes aside so it is out of the way when the person stands.

Who it suits
Clients who can stand from a chair with a hand up but do not have a stable point to push from, and who need a table within reach for meals, medication or activities. It is a common request for people living at home with reduced leg strength, arthritis or early mobility decline, where a standard overbed table gives the surface but not the support.
Good to know
- Assembly is required before first use
- Check the chair or bed has legs the base can slide under, with a span between 483 and 826 mm
- The 6.8 kg limit is for the tray surface only; the handle takes the standing load
