The Cura1 2629 is a cordless bed sensor pad that sits on top of the mattress and signals a Cura1 monitor or pager when the person gets out of bed. There is no lead between the pad and the monitor: the 2719 Cordless Pad Transmitter fits inside the pad and sends the signal by radio. The sensing area is 760 mm by 510 mm and the pad works for users from 30 kg to 200 kg.

Who it suits
Clients who leave bed unassisted and are at risk of falling, in home care, supported accommodation or aged care. The cordless setup removes the trip hazard of a cable across the floor and lets the carer carry a pager rather than sit within earshot of a bedside monitor. Choose it over the corded 2626 pad where the monitor cannot be placed at the bedside.
