The Aeromesh Rapid-Dry Bath Belt is a two-piece positioning belt from Bodypoint, built for wet environments. The Aeromesh fabric lets water, soap and air pass straight through, so the belt washes out fully and dries quickly rather than holding moisture against the skin.
The belt is soft enough to sit against bare skin. It can be fitted across the chest, the abdomen, the knees or the legs, depending on whether the client is at risk of pitching forward or falling to the side. Hardware is chosen for wet use: stainless steel grommets and a side-release buckle with an oversized D-ring that is easier to manage with reduced hand function or wet hands.
The two-piece configuration splits at the buckle, which makes it quicker to release and reposition than a four-point belt during a shower transfer.
