The Aeromesh Rapid-Dry Bath Belt is a positioning belt from Bodypoint built for wet environments. The Aeromesh fabric lets water and air pass through it, so the belt sheds water and dries in a couple of hours rather than holding moisture against the skin.
It is used to steady the pelvis or trunk on a shower chair, bath chair or commode, and can also be fitted across the knees or legs where lower limb control is needed. The fabric is soft against bare skin, which matters when the client is undressed.
The one-piece version uses side-release buckles so the belt can be taken off for cleaning. Hardware is corrosion resistant: stainless steel grommets, oversized D-rings and plastic side-release buckles. Mounting is either through screw-in grommets or plastic slides, depending on the frame. An optional quick-release knob is available.
