Our own vehicles and our own people, Tasmania-wide. Wherever we can, equipment arrives assembled, set up in the room it will be used in, and demonstrated to the person and their carers.
Where we deliver
We deliver across Tasmania from our Northern Tasmania (Launceston) and Southern Tasmania (Cambridge) sites, including the North West, the East Coast and regional areas. In more remote areas we group deliveries by run, so lead times are longer and some items travel by freight with set-up arranged separately. Islands and very remote addresses are quoted individually.
Lead times
- Stock items: usually delivered within 1 to 2 business days in Launceston and Hobart, and 3 to 4 business days in regional areas.
- Hire equipment for hospital discharge: usually within a few days, often sooner. Call us rather than using a form if the discharge is today or tomorrow.
- Special orders: the supplier lead time is shown on the quote. We will tell you when the order is placed, when it arrives and when it will be delivered.
What delivery usually includes
Delivery, set-up and training are quoted as separate lines, so you and the funder can see exactly what is included for that item and that address. For most equipment delivered by our own team it means:
- Assembly and set-up in the room where the equipment will be used.
- Adjustment to the person: seat height, handle height, bed height, sling fitting and similar.
- A demonstration for the person, their family and carers, with time for questions.
- Removal of packaging, and removal of old equipment where quoted.
Smaller items, and some deliveries to remote areas, arrive by courier ready to use, with written instructions and a phone call from us to walk through set-up if needed.
Installed equipment
Ceiling hoists, rails, ramps and home modifications are installed by our licensed Building and Projects team. We do the home measure, prepare the quote in the format the funder needs, and manage the install. Where structural work or council approval is needed we tell you before the quote is issued.
On the day
- We call ahead with a delivery window. Someone over 18 needs to be home to accept the delivery and receive training.
- Please clear a path to the room and let us know about steps, narrow doorways, pets or parking.
- If nobody is home at the agreed time a re-delivery fee may apply.

Click and collect
Stock items can be collected from our Northern Tasmania showroom in Launceston, 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, or from our Southern Tasmania showroom in Cambridge by appointment. We will tell you when your order is ready.
