This is a moulded plastic bed pan made to fit KCare mobile shower commode chairs. It sits in the pan carrier under the seat opening and is removed for emptying and cleaning.
The plastic is autoclavable, so the pan can be sanitised in a healthcare setting rather than surface cleaned only. That suits shared use in a facility as well as home use where infection control matters.
Order it as a spare, as a replacement for a damaged pan, or as a second pan so one can be in use while the other is being cleaned. Check that the client’s chair uses a pan carrier, since some commode configurations are set up for direct use over a toilet instead.
