The Molift Air Propulsion Trolley (Etac article 2500103) is the rail carriage that holds a Molift Air 205, 300 or 350 hoist motor and drives it along the track under power. Movement along the rail is controlled from the hand control, so the carer can steer a client from bed to chair or into a bathroom without pushing the hoist, and can keep hands on the client instead.
The motor connects to and releases from the trolley with a simple grip, so the same hoist can be moved between rooms or rails, and the trolley can be removed for servicing without tools.
Key features
- Powered traverse along the rail, driven from the hand control
- Suits Molift Air 205, 300 and 350 motors (not the Air 200 or 500)
- Quick-release coupling between motor and trolley
- Light build for easy installation and room-to-room transfer
- Clean with a pH 5 to 9 cleaner or 70 percent disinfectant
Who it suits
A client hoisted several times a day on a ceiling track, where the carer is working alone or has to manage lines, oxygen or a sling with both hands. It also helps in long rail runs and in traverse (H-frame) systems where pushing a loaded hoist across the room is heavy work. For a short rail over a single bed with an able carer, the standard manual trolley (article 2520000) does the job at much lower cost.
Good to know
- Sold as the trolley only; the Molift Air motor, rail and hand control are separate
- An in-rail charging (IRC) propulsion version, article 2520006, is available for rails with IRC
- Installation is by a trained ceiling hoist technician; ask us about site assessment
