About this product

The Care Quip Spil Pruf Male Urinal is a bedside urinal bottle for clients who cannot get to the toilet in time or at night. The patented non-spill spout holds up to 500 ml in any position, so a bottle knocked off the bedside table or tipped in the bed does not empty. Total capacity is 1 litre and the side is graduated in 100 ml steps for fluid balance charts.

The bottle is moulded plastic with an integrated handle and weighs 240 g. The spout unscrews for emptying and cleaning, and the bottle can be autoclaved for reuse in a care setting.

Key features

  • 1 litre capacity, 500 ml held spill-free in any position
  • Patented Spil Pruf spout
  • 100 ml graduation marks
  • Integrated carry handle
  • Spout unscrews for emptying and cleaning
  • Autoclavable moulded plastic, 240 g

Who it suits

A male client with urgency, nocturia or limited mobility who manages toileting in bed or from a chair, and any client whose carer needs to measure output. It is also the safer choice where a client is drowsy, confused or has a tremor and might tip a standard bottle. A client who needs a female urinal or a bedpan will need a different item.

Good to know

  • No assembly
  • Clean after each use; suitable for autoclave sterilisation
  • Single-client item once in use
