The Homecraft Dual Handle Leg Lifter is the two-handed version of the standard leg lifter. Two handles at the top let the client pull with both arms, and a rigid centre rod keeps the strap from folding while the leg is being steered. The lower loop slides over the foot. It is 865 mm long and weighs 110 g.
It suits repositioning on a couch or in a chair as well as getting legs into bed, and it packs flat for travel.
Key features
- 865 mm long, 110 g
- Two handles for a two-armed lift
- Rigid centre rod stabilises the strap during the move
- Foot loop at the lower end
- Packs flat
Who it suits
A client with limited or no leg function and a weak grip in one or both hands, for example with spinal cord injury, MS or advanced arthritis, who can still use two arms together. Choose it over the single-handle lifter when one hand alone cannot hold the strap under load. If the client can lift with one arm and needs the other hand free for balance, the standard Homecraft Leg Lifter is simpler.
