The WonderSheet Plus is a fitted sheet with a satin panel sewn into the centre. The panel is 90 cm long and sits 17 cm in from each side, under the shoulders, back and hips, so the client can slide across the mattress and pivot to sit up without lifting their hips. The rest of the sheet is a 50/50 cotton and polyester weave, which gives grip at the edge of the bed where the client sits to transfer. It is offered here in king single (107 x 203 cm) with a 35 cm wall and queen (152 x 203 cm) with a 45 cm wall.
The 35 cm wall fits mattresses up to 30 cm deep and the 45 cm wall fits mattresses 30 to 40 cm deep, which covers most pressure care and adjustable bed mattresses. The sheet machine washes at up to 71 degrees Celsius and meets AS/NZS 4146:2000 laundry practice guidelines, so it suits home and facility laundries.

Who it suits
A client who can move in bed but struggles to lift their hips to shift across the mattress, or who needs less friction to pivot from lying to sitting, for example after hip surgery, with arthritis or with reduced trunk and leg strength. It also cuts the effort for a carer who repositions the client by hand. It is a low friction surface, not a slide sheet, so a client who is hoisted or fully dependent for repositioning needs a slide sheet system instead. For a client who slides too easily and cannot hold a position in bed, a standard fitted sheet is the safer choice.

- Choose the wall depth by measuring the mattress: up to 30 cm takes the 35 cm wall, 30 to 40 cm takes the 45 cm wall
- The original WonderSheet has satin edge to edge; the Plus version adds cotton and polyester sides for grip and is the one to choose for a client who sits on the edge of the bed
