The Homecraft Steel Standard Shower Chair is a four-legged shower chair with a moulded plastic seat and backrest and fixed arms. The seat height adjusts from 410 to 535 mm in push-button steps, the seat is 440 mm wide and 405 mm deep, and the chair is 545 mm wide overall so it fits most shower recesses. Safe working load is 125 kg.
The frame is 22 mm zinc treated, epoxy powder coated steel with white rubber tips, and the chair weighs 3.7 kg. The seat is contoured with drainage holes so water does not pool. It arrives fully assembled.

Who it suits
A client who can walk or transfer into a walk-in shower but cannot stand safely for the length of a shower, and who needs arms to push up from. The 440 mm seat suits a small to average build. For a client over 125 kg, or one who needs a wider seat, an aluminium or bariatric shower chair with a higher safe working load is the better choice. If the client cannot step over a hob, a shower stool or transfer bench may work better than a chair.
