The Freedom Bath Transfer Bench with Rotating Seat sits across the bath so the client sits down on the outside, swivels and slides in without lifting a leg over the rim. The padded polyurethane seat rotates 360 degrees and locks at 90 degree intervals, then slides from end to end along the frame. Seat height adjusts from 400 to 500 mm, the overall width is 800 mm, and the safe working load is 130 kg.
The aluminium frame weighs 8.8 kg. It comes flat-packed and needs assembly. The backrest is padded and folds down, and the armrests are padded with an integrated safety belt.

Who it suits
A client who wants to keep bathing in an existing bath but cannot safely step over the rim: reduced hip and knee range, poor standing balance, or a carer-assisted transfer after surgery or stroke. The rotating seat means the carer does not have to lift or twist the client. If the client can stand safely and only needs a rest point in a level-entry shower, a shower stool or shower chair is a cheaper and simpler choice.
