till is for the child who cannot take themselves to standing. They are positioned lying down, and the surface raises them through to upright, so the transfer happens without a lift and without the child needing to co-operate actively.
Support runs the full length of the body, head to feet. The positioning jacket is elastic and breathable rather than rigid, and the flexible knee positioners spread contact across the knee at whatever angle it sits, which is what keeps a long standing session tolerable.
