Abena Pants Premium L1 are disposable pull-up pants worn like normal underwear. This is the large size for a hip measurement of 100 to 140 cm, with level 1 absorbency of 1400 ml (Rothwell method). The product is 880 mm long and 780 mm wide when laid flat, and comes in a pack of 15.
The core uses Abena’s Top-Dry layer to pull urine away from the skin quickly, and lengthwise and cross leakage barriers with elastic give protection all the way round. The back sheet is a breathable textile, the waistband has a high count of elastic threads for a snug fit, and a wetness indicator with a graduated scale shows when a change is due. The sides tear open for removal, and a built-in tape rolls the used pant up for disposal.

Who it suits
A client with light to moderate urinary incontinence who is mobile or can stand with help, and who prefers a product that pulls up and down like underwear, for example a client with urge incontinence, early dementia or arthritis that makes tabs difficult. For a client who is changed lying down, or who needs more than 1400 ml capacity overnight, an all-in-one brief such as Abri-Form or the L3 pant is the better choice.
