About this product

Abena Slip Basic L3 is a disposable all-in-one brief (tape nappy) for moderate to heavy bladder and bowel incontinence. Size Large fits a hip measurement of 100 to 150 cm and has a laboratory absorbency (Rothwell method) of 3300 ml. The green colour code on the pack and product identifies the size.

Each pack holds 22 briefs. The textile-like backsheet is breathable, the Top-Dry layer keeps the surface dry against the skin, and the combi tapes can be opened and refastened to adjust the fit.

Key features

  • Size L3: hip 100 to 150 cm, green colour code
  • Absorbency 3300 ml (ISO 11948-1 Rothwell test)
  • 970 mm long, 800 mm wide when open
  • Breathable textile-like backsheet with Top-Dry surface
  • Curved leg elastics, leakage barriers and a rear cross barrier
  • Wetness indicator and odour control
  • Refastenable tapes, pack of 22

Who it suits

A client with moderate to heavy urinary or faecal incontinence who is in bed, has limited mobility, or needs a carer to change them, where a pull-up pant would be hard to manage. Measure the hip, not the waist, to pick the size. For an active client who can manage toileting independently, Abena Pants pull-ups are usually the better choice; for very heavy overnight loss look at the L4 or the Slip Premium range.
