The Accora Configura Comfort is a dual-motor lift and recline chair built for clients who sit for most of the day. The seat can be set to 400, 450, 500 or 550 mm wide, 450 or 500 mm deep and from 375 to 500 mm high, so one chair can be adjusted as the client changes rather than replaced. Tilt-in-space runs to 26 degrees with leg rest elevation, the backrest reclines from 100 to 128 degrees, and the rise function stands the client up at 23 degrees. Safe working load is 160 kg.
The chair comes in small, medium and large frames (750, 800 and 850 mm overall width) in Duratek vapour-permeable fabric or wipe-down vinyl in black or brown. It knocks down for delivery and fits through a standard doorway, and runs on castors so it can be moved for cleaning. Product weight is 65 to 71 kg depending on size.

Who it suits
A client with reduced mobility who needs to be seated out of bed for long periods and repositioned through the day, for example after a stroke, with advanced Parkinson’s or with a moderate pressure injury risk. The adjustable seat suits shared use in a facility and clients whose size or posture is changing. A client who needs postural correction through a shaped back or lateral supports, or who weighs more than 160 kg, needs the Configura Advance or the bariatric model instead.
