The byACRE Carbon Ultralight is a carbon fibre and aluminium rollator that weighs 4.8 kg and carries a client up to 130 kg. It folds side to side to 250 mm wide with a single pull, so it fits behind a car seat or in an overhead locker. Handle height adjusts from 800 to 950 mm on the regular and wide track models and 790 to 910 mm on the compact, in 30 mm steps with a push button. The 200 mm puncture-proof wheels roll on footpaths and gravel.
Three track widths cover different clients: compact (600 mm wide, 410 mm seat, 570 mm seat height), regular (625 mm wide, 420 mm seat, 610 mm seat height) and wide track (675 mm wide, 470 mm seat, 610 mm seat height). All are 670 mm long. It arrives assembled with an organiser bag and elastic lock, in eight colours.

Who it suits
An active client who walks daily, drives or travels and finds a 7 to 9 kg rollator too heavy to lift into the boot, for example a client with COPD, early Parkinson’s or general age-related balance loss who wants to keep walking outdoors. The compact suits a smaller client or narrow doorways, the wide track a broader client or someone who feels unsteady on a narrow base. For a client who leans heavily on the frame or needs to sit and rest often, a heavier steel rollator with a wider padded seat is more stable.
