The Comfi-Grip Buff Sponge is a long handled washing aid from the Helping Hand Comfi-Grip range. The 65 cm (26 in) handle brings the back, feet and lower legs within reach without bending or twisting. One face of the head is a textured buff material for light exfoliation, the other is a plain soft sponge for general washing.
The polypropylene handle has a rubberised grip that stays secure when wet. It can be softened under hot water or a hair dryer, bent to the angle the client needs, and cooled to hold that shape.

Who it suits
A client with restricted shoulder range, a hip precaution after joint replacement, or limited trunk flexion who wants to wash independently in the shower. It also suits a client with reduced grip strength because the handle is thick and non-slip. If the client needs to wash between the toes, the Comfi-Grip toe and foot sponge is the better choice.
