The Conni Waterproof Mattress Protector is a fitted protector that sits under the bottom sheet and stops fluid reaching the mattress. This is the king single size, 1070 x 2030 mm, with a 270 mm deep wall and corner toggle fasteners that hold it in place on a profiling bed as the backrest and knee break move. The waterproof membrane is breathable, so the bed does not feel hot or sweaty.
It is machine washable in warm or cool water and can be tumble dried on low. The fabric is Oeko-Tex certified. It is a barrier, not an absorbent pad, so pair it with a Conni bed pad or absorbent sheet where the client is regularly wet.

Who it suits
A client with urinary or faecal incontinence, heavy night sweats or a wound that leaks, where the mattress (often a hired or NDIS-funded pressure care mattress) must be kept dry and hygienic. The toggle fit suits electric care beds where a flat protector would ride up. If the client needs the wet surface pulled away from the skin, add an absorbent bed pad on top; this protector alone is not designed to be slept on directly.
