The Freedom Toilet Pan Surround is a toilet surround frame: two angled handles on an aluminium frame that stands around the toilet. There is no seat, lid or pan, so the client keeps using the existing toilet at its normal height and gains firm support on both sides for sitting down and standing up.
The frame is rated to 120 kg and the height adjusts from 660 to 785 mm to bring the handles to the right level for the client. It weighs 2 kg, with a 540 mm width and 470 mm depth.

Who it suits
Clients who can manage the standard toilet height but need bilateral arm support to control the descent and to push up, for example after a fall, with early stage weakness or reduced balance. Because there is no seat, it suits households where other people share the toilet and want nothing to remove.
