The Handi-Move 2815 L IR is a ceiling hoist motor that runs on a fixed rail system, with powered travel along the rail and an infrared remote. Because the motor lives on the rail, the floor stays clear, no one has to push a mobile hoist around the bed and the client can operate the lift and the travel themselves if they have the hand function. It suits bedrooms, bathrooms and care facilities where full body hoisting happens daily.
Safe working load is 200 kg with the standard 2000 mm motor band. The motor unit measures 410 x 350 x 210 mm and weighs 21 kg, and the sealed lead acid batteries give about 160 lifts per charge.
