The Jenx Corner Seat is a padded floor seat for children who need help to sit on the floor with their legs out in front. The distinct corner shape and sturdy wings keep the spine in midline, the back pad adjusts in height and the upper back section can be removed, and an abduction block keeps the hips well back in the seat. Size 1 has a 35 cm seat depth and a 25 kg user weight; size 3 has a 46.5 cm seat depth and takes a child up to 55 kg.
Seat weight is 7 kg, 10 kg or 13 kg by size, so it moves easily between rooms or from home to school. Small touch and close straps connect it to the Jenx Nursery Table for meals and play with other children across the table.

Who it suits
A young child with low tone, cerebral palsy or developmental delay who cannot yet sit unsupported on the floor and needs a stable base for play and peer interaction at home, kindergarten or school. Long-leg sitting also helps maintain hamstring length. For a child who needs pelvic and trunk positioning at table height, or tilt, an activity chair such as the Rifton Activity Chair or R82 Wombat is a better fit.
