The K Care Donatello 4 Motor is an electric lift recliner with separate motors for the backrest, footrest, headrest and lumbar support, so each can be set on its own from the hand control. The two-stage lift raises the client to a standing position, and the backrest reclines to lie flat with the footrest extended. Seat width and depth are both 520 mm, seat height is 508 mm and the safe working load is 158 kg.
The chair is 890 mm wide, 1016 mm deep and 1092 mm high, and stretches to 1830 mm long when fully reclined. It weighs 74 kg. The hand control has soft-grip buttons and six preset positions including full stand and full recline.

Who it suits
An adult who struggles to stand from a lounge chair and spends long periods sitting, for example with arthritis, heart failure, Parkinson’s or post-surgery. The lateral backrest suits a client who leans to one side; the tall back suits a client over about 180 cm. A client who needs pressure care through the night, or who is hoisted, needs a bed or a tilt-in-space chair rather than a recliner.
