About this product

The Rehasense Navigator is a four wheel forearm walker for clients who need to bear weight through their forearms rather than their hands. Each forearm support adjusts in height, length and angle, with a support height range of 900 to 1150 mm. The frame is rated to 150 kg and weighs 9.6 kg, with 200 mm TPE covered wheels that cope with footpaths as well as floors.

There is 300 mm between the handles and the overall width is 630 mm, so it moves through standard internal doorways. A seat at 620 mm gives a rest point, and the shopping bag carries up to 5 kg.

Key features

  • Forearm supports adjust in height, length and angle
  • Forearm support height 900 to 1150 mm
  • 200 mm TPE covered wheels for indoor and outdoor use
  • Hand brakes with parking lock
  • Seat at 620 mm with shopping bag rated to 5 kg
  • Aluminium frame, 9.6 kg, folds to 280 mm wide

Who it suits

Clients with wrist or hand pain, weakness or fixed deformity, for example rheumatoid arthritis, wrist fractures or post-surgical restrictions, and clients who walk with a flexed trunk and need an upright support surface. It is used in rehabilitation, in aged care and at home for longer term walking with forearm weight bearing.

Good to know

  • Supplied ready to use, no assembly required
  • This is the large size, with a 900 to 1150 mm support height range; check it against the client’s standing elbow height
  • Folds to 280 mm wide for a car boot

Forearm walkers need to be set up for the individual, so we recommend a trial. Book a trial with our team, or ask for a quote or hire options, with Tasmania-wide delivery from a Tasmanian owned supplier.
