The Ellipse SuperLite is Peak Care’s carbon fibre rollator. The frame keeps the weight to 6.26 kg (small) or 6.63 kg (medium) while carrying a 120 kg safe working load, and it is tested to Australian standard 492484. Handle height adjusts without tools from 760 to 850 mm on the small and 835 to 960 mm on the medium, the frame is 600 mm wide on both, and the seat sits 480 mm (small) or 520 mm (medium) from the ground.
It folds sideways to 260 mm wide for the car boot. The small runs 200 mm wheels all round; the medium has 242 mm front wheels for kerbs and rough paths. A nylon under-seat bag, cane holder and tool-free brake adjustment are standard. Available in black (small and medium) and blue (medium).

Who it suits
An active client who walks outdoors, needs to rest on a seat now and then, and lifts the rollator into a car themselves or with a partner who cannot manage a 7 to 8 kg aluminium frame. The small suits a client roughly 1.5 to 1.65 m tall, the medium a client up to about 1.8 m; the seat height should let them sit with feet flat. A client over 120 kg, or who leans heavily on the frame and needs a wider, heavier rollator for stability, is better on a steel or bariatric model.
