The R82 Heron Flip-Up Armrests are the padded armrest pair for the R82 Heron toilet and shower chair. Each armrest is about 370 mm long, 250 mm high and 50 mm wide and gives the child something to rest on and push against while seated. They flip back out of the way for side transfers and for hoisting with a sling.
They are sold as a pair (R82 item 880508-03) and fit both the hydraulic Heron and the Heron Power. An armrest-mounted tray (880508-04) can be added to them.

Who it suits
A child or teenager on a Heron who needs lateral or forearm support to sit steadily for toileting and showering, or who uses the arms to push up for a standing transfer. Clients who are always hoisted and never sit unsupported can leave them off to keep the sides clear.
