The R82 Heron is a paediatric shower commode chair with tilt-in-space, back recline and gas-strut height adjustment, for children and teenagers who need postural support during toileting and showering. Seat height adjusts from 510 to 780 mm, tilt runs from -5 to +25 degrees and the back reclines from -10 to +30 degrees. The chair is rated to 100 kg and weighs 28 kg.
It works three ways: freestanding with a commode pan, rolled over a standard toilet, or in the shower. Four lockable castors keep it stable for transfers. The moulded seat has a cut-out and pressure-mapped padding and is machine washable at 85 degrees.
