The R82 Meerkat Pelvic Support is the padded pelvic strap for the R82 Meerkat standing frame. It wraps around the pelvis and holds it against the frame so the child can stand with a stable base while the chest support and knee supports do the rest. It comes in four sizes covering pelvic circumferences from 450 to 1100 mm: Small 450 to 600 mm, Medium 600 to 700 mm, Large 700 to 900 mm and X-Large 900 to 1100 mm.
The strap tightens with a ratchet, so it can be snugged up after the child is in the frame, and a front security buckle stops it opening by accident. The padding is soft against the body and the strap is firm against the frame.

Who it suits
A child or teenager who uses a Meerkat and needs their pelvis held in a neutral, upright position to stand: for example a child with cerebral palsy who tends to flex at the hips or shift to one side in standing. Measure the pelvic circumference before ordering so the size lands in the middle of the range. It is a Meerkat part only, so a child on a different stander will need the strap made for that frame.
