boris is the shower and toilet chair to reach for when a child needs real postural support to be washed or toileted, not just a seat over the pan. The seat shell is anatomically shaped, so it stabilises the pelvis and gives the trunk something to work against.
The shell tilts from minus 5 to 30 degrees on a foot pedal. Upright at the basin for teeth and hand washing, tilted back for hair washing or for a child who fatigues. A stainless steel base frame handles years of wet-area use.
- Five sizes, seat width 260 to 460 mm, seat depth 310 to 480 mm
- Tilt minus 5 to 30 degrees, foot pedal operated
- Maximum user weight 150 kg
- Height adjustable seat, stainless steel base frame
- Optional fold-up footrest for easier access
- Toilet pan lets it be used away from the toilet
- Abduction wedge with integrated splash guard
- Height and depth adjustable headrest, optional padded tray
- Optional removable seat pads and a pressure relief insert cushion
- Schuchmann guide: GMFCS levels III to V
Check the bathroom before you commit: the chair needs clear floor space to turn, and the toilet suite has to let the frame come over it if you plan to use it that way.
