The momo is a tricycle first and a piece of equipment second, which is exactly why children ride it. It puts joints, muscles and cardiovascular fitness to work in the one activity a child will actually ask to do again.
Almost everything is specified to the rider. Saddle shape and size, handlebar type, pedals, headrest, and the drive, which runs from a fixed gear for a rider who needs the pedals to keep turning through to a seven-speed freewheel with a brake hub.
- Sizes 12, 16/12, 16, 20, 24/20, 24, 26 and 26 XL inch
- Stride length 300 to 980 mm, step height 160 to 230 mm
- Maximum user weight 120 kg
- Lightweight high-strength aluminium frame with an extra-low step-through
- Drive options from a fixed gear to a seven-speed freewheel brake hub
- Saddles, handlebars, pedals and headrests in a range of options
- Trunk supports available for a rider who needs help sitting upright
- Hub dynamo lighting set fitted from the 24/20 inch size up
- Schuchmann guide: GMFCS levels I to V
Stride length is the measurement that decides the size, not the child’s height. Get that measured before you specify anything else.
Book a trial and we will bring a size to fit, so the child rides it before you commit to the build.
