The Silvalea Fastfit Padded Leg Sling with Arched Head Support is a full body sling for everyday hoist transfers between bed, chair and commode. The arched head support is integral, adjustable and has removable stiffeners, and the divided leg sections are padded for comfort under the thighs. In Silva-Superfine Plus fabric the safe working load is 220 kg. Thrive stocks the small and medium sizes.
Silva-Superfine Plus is a soft 3D spacer fabric with two-way stretch that moulds to the client and is suitable for bathing. It has a small aperture for hygiene access and colour-coded tapes so the same loop settings are easy to repeat. Wash at up to 71 degrees Celsius and tumble dry on low heat, maximum 50 degrees.

Who it suits
A client who is fully dependent for transfers and needs head support in the sling, for example after stroke, with advanced dementia or with a neurological condition that reduces trunk and neck control. It is a standard sling that is removed after each transfer. For a client who cannot tolerate repeated sling fitting, or who has fragile skin, the Silvalea In-Situ range is designed to stay in place between transfers.
