The Forte Sovereign S7 is a multi-layer foam mattress for clients at high risk of pressure injury who also need a stable surface to sit on the edge of and transfer from. It is built from several immersion layers rather than a single foam block, so the surface gives over bony prominences while the perimeter stays firm.
The construction combines a dual density initial immersion layer, a gel and responsive foam rotational layer, and a zoned Ventraflow secondary immersion layer. Ventraflow perimeter foam supports the edge for sitting and transfers, and the airflow structure helps manage heat and moisture at the skin. A heel zone with a 5 degree transfer region reduces loading at the heels. The mattress is reversible, giving two immersion interfaces from one product.
This version is supplied with the Premiflex Ultra cover, a wipe-clean cover for shared or high soiling environments. A quilted homecare cover is available instead where the client is at home.
