The Spex Manta is an all-in-one back support that builds the lateral trunk supports into the shell rather than bolting them on. That keeps the width down and suits clients who use tilt and need trunk containment through the range.
It suits mild to moderate trunk asymmetry, from light contact through to firm support. The centre of the back is lined with memory foam, and the laterals are covered in neoprene so the arms rest against a soft surface rather than a hard edge.
The cover can be fitted either way up, which changes where the lateral contour sits and gives two setups from one part. Depth and height are both adjustable on the shell, so the back can be reset as posture changes without buying a new unit. A rear zip makes the cover quick to remove for washing, and the rear surface takes hook and loop for wedges or a positioning kit. A swing-away lateral option is available where transfers are over the side.
