The Staydry Chair Pad is a reusable continence protector for a wheelchair, lounge chair or dining chair. A brushed polyester top wicks fluid into a polyester soaker layer and a polyurethane backing keeps the seat dry. It holds over 500 ml. The 480 x 480 mm size fits a standard wheelchair seat and the 500 x 600 mm size covers an armchair or dining chair.
The pad is quilted and stitched rather than laminated, so it is quiet to sit on and does not feel like plastic. It machine washes and tumble dries at up to 80 degrees and comes in black, bone, greystone, midnight, stone and blue so it blends with furniture rather than looking clinical.

Who it suits
A client with light to moderate urinary leakage who sits for long periods in a wheelchair, recliner or dining chair, and a client with dementia who will not tolerate a disposable pad but will sit on a soft cushion-like cover. It also protects hire or facility furniture. For heavy overnight or faecal incontinence, or for a client who slides on any surface, a bed pad or a fitted seat cover on a pressure cushion is the better choice.

- Wash before first use to activate absorbency
- No bleach or fabric softener, which reduces absorbency
- The 480 x 480 mm pad fits most 400 to 460 mm wide wheelchair seats; check the seat cushion depth
- Not a pressure care surface: place it over the client’s cushion, not in place of it
