The SystemRoMedic TopSheet is a combined turning device and incontinence protection for a client who is nursed in bed. It lies under the client in place of a slide sheet and pad, and its straps clip to the hoist sling bar or the bed rail so the client can be turned for pressure care, washing or dressing changes with the hoist doing the lifting. This PH1515 version is 155 x 140 cm and has ultra-low friction material on the underside so it slides across the mattress with little effort.
The top is soft brushed polyester over a super-absorbent layer, with a PU-coated moisture barrier that keeps fluid away from the sheets and mattress. It is made in two parts with a replaceable lower section, and it washes at 90 degrees.

Who it suits
A client who is fully dependent in bed, needs regular turning for pressure care, and is incontinent or has wound drainage, where carers are at risk from repeated manual turns. It works with a ceiling hoist or a mobile hoist positioned at the bedside. For a client who only needs repositioning and has no continence issue, a standard slide sheet or a fabric turning sling is simpler and cheaper.

- Wash at up to 90 degrees; the lower section can be replaced separately when worn
