The Wi-Bo Self Help Overhead Lifting Pole is a bed lifting pole for Wissner-Bosserhoff beds. It mounts to the bed head on either side and gives the person an overhead point to pull against when sitting up, rolling or moving up the bed, which reduces the lifting a carer has to do. It is used in aged care, hospital and home settings on Wi-Bo beds.
The pole is steel, made in Germany by Wissner-Bosserhoff, and supplied powder coated or chrome plated depending on the finish available. The triangle handle and strap are ordered separately.

Who it suits
Clients with reasonable upper limb strength and grip who need help to sit up, turn or shift up the bed on a Wi-Bo bed. Not suited to clients who cannot pull through their arms, or where the clinical goal is to reduce pulling through the shoulders.
