The Acekare Yomper+ is a wheelchair power assist that mounts to the rear of a manual wheelchair and drives it, so the user keeps their own chair and seating but no longer has to push. It is controlled from the EasyGo wireless Bluetooth handset, with five speeds in indoor and outdoor modes and a top speed of 10 km/h. This version has the high capacity 24 V 10 Ah battery, rated for up to 35 km on a charge. Safe working load is 150 kg.
The drive unit weighs 5.8 kg, or 4.65 kg with the battery out, which is the figure that matters when it has to go into a car boot.
