The Wissner-Bosserhoff Sentida SC is a low nursing bed built for both aged care and home use. It lowers to 230 mm for falls management and rises to 800 mm for carer tasks, with a 410 mm mobilisation height that puts the client at chair height for standing up. The safe working load is 270 kg, which allows a resident weight of 235 kg plus 35 kg of mattress and accessories.
The four-part SafeFree mobility rails split at the middle of the bed, so a client can get out through the gap while the head-end section stays up as a hand hold. The backrest raises to 70 degrees with 120 mm of retraction to reduce shear, the thigh section raises to 30 degrees, and pre-set comfort seating and prophylactic positions run from the hand control. The bed weighs about 115 kg and rolls on four 50 mm twin castors with a pedal brake. This model is finished in Lindberg Oak.

Who it suits
A client at high falls risk who needs a bed that goes to floor height, alongside carers who need a full working height and hospital-style positioning. The split rails suit a client who is still mobile but needs a hand hold and part-time protection, which makes it a good fit for dementia care and for home discharge with a mobile client.
