The K Care Maxi Over Toilet Frame is the heavy duty version of the K Care over toilet frame, with a safe working load of 300 kg and a wider seat. It stands over the existing toilet with a padded seat at 520 mm from the floor, integrated arms for pushing up, and a removable splash guard. Seat widths are 550, 600 and 650 mm, with overall widths of 610, 660 and 710 mm.
The frame is epoxy coated, zinc treated mild steel with rubber tips on each leg. The padded seat and the splash guard both lift off for cleaning. The frame weighs 7 kg in the 550 mm size, 8 kg in 600 mm and 9 kg in 650 mm.

Who it suits
A bariatric client, or any client who needs a seat wider than the standard 420 to 460 mm, who can walk or transfer to the toilet but needs a higher seat and arms to stand. Measure the client’s seated hip width and add clearance for clothing when choosing between the three widths. A client under 200 kg who fits a standard seat is better served by the standard K Care over toilet frame, which is lighter and takes less floor space.
