The Air Chair Classic from Cobalt Health is a pressure care chair with an air cell system built into the seat and lumbar area, adjusted to the user’s weight so pressure is spread rather than concentrated on the sacrum and ischial tuberosities. Tilt-in-space runs from 0 to 17 degrees with backrest recline from 97 to 136 degrees and an elevating leg rest, so the client can be repositioned through the day without a transfer. Safe working load is 150 kg, on a 510 mm wide, 560 mm deep seat.
