The Freedom rotating seat bench is a swivel bath transfer bench. The client sits on the seat outside the bath, the carer releases the lock and turns them a quarter turn at a time until they face along the bath, then slides the seat inside. The client is never asked to lift a leg over the rim or shuffle sideways.
It is rated to 130 kg, lower than a fixed bench because of the swivel mechanism, which matters when choosing between the two. The seat is 430 mm wide and 370 mm deep, and seat height adjusts from 400 to 500 mm in 12.5 mm steps. The aluminium frame weighs 8.8 kg.

Who it suits
Clients with limited hip movement, poor sitting balance or one sided weakness who cannot manage a sliding transfer across a plain bench. The backrest, armrests and belt give a more supported seat for clients who need a carer present for the whole shower.
