The Cura1 2449 Y lead splits a single nurse call socket so two devices can be connected at once. It has two 6.35 mm stereo line sockets on one end and a right-angle 6.35 mm stereo plug on the other, and is 300 mm long. Typical use is a Cura1 falls monitor and a nurse call pendant or second monitor sharing one call point at the bed head.
The right-angle plug keeps the lead flat against the wall plate and reduces strain on the socket. It is a passive lead, so it needs no power and no setting up.
Key features
- Two 6.35 mm stereo line sockets to one 6.35 mm right-angle stereo plug
- 300 mm long
- Lets two devices raise a common alarm through one nurse call point
- Passive lead, no power required
Who it suits
Care facilities and hospitals where a bed already has a nurse call point and the resident also needs a falls monitor or a second alarm device on the same call system. It is a wiring accessory rather than client equipment. If the nurse call system uses 3.5 mm or mono connections, Cura1 makes other Y leads (2492, 2495, 2497) and we can match the right one for the site.
Good to know
- Check the nurse call socket type before ordering; a 6.35 mm stereo plug will not suit every system
- Sold as the lead only
- Compatible with Cura1 falls monitors that have a 6.35 mm nurse call output
