The R82 neoprene hip belt is a pelvic positioning belt for paediatric seating. It supports the pelvis and applies a downward and backward pull, which keeps the child seated back in the chair rather than sliding forward.
Neoprene gives the belt some stretch and a broad, soft contact surface. That suits children who need steady pelvic positioning rather than firm restraint, and it spreads load over a wider area than a webbing-only belt.
