This Airgo cane pairs a Comfort-Plus offset handle with a MiniQuad tip: a small four-point base that pivots to meet the ground. The tip self-centres, so the cane stands upright on its own when the user lets go, and it keeps full contact on uneven ground or a slope.
It sits between a single-point stick and a full quad cane. The base is wider than a standard ferrule, giving more stability for a client with mild balance loss, but Drive lists the tip as around half the weight of a large-base quad cane, so it is easier to advance and less likely to catch on a step edge.
The offset handle puts the user’s weight over the shaft, and the cushioned grip reduces pressure through the palm. That suits clients with arthritic hands or those who load the cane heavily.
